Alishan The Alishan National Scenic Area is a mountain resort and natural preserve located in the mountains of Chiayi County in Taiwan. It is 415 km² in area. It includes, among other things, mountain wilderness, four villages, waterfalls, high altitude tea plantations, the Alishan Forest Railway and several hiking trails. The area is popular among tourists and mountain climbers, and Alishan or Mount Ali itself has become one of the major landmarks associated with Taiwan. The area is also famous for its production of high mountain tea and wasabi. Alishan is well known for its sunrises, and on a suitable morning one can observe the sun come up on a sea of clouds in the area between Alishan and Yüshan. WIKIPEDIA Link
日月潭 簡稱明潭，位於台灣南投縣魚池鄉，為台灣第二大及第一大天然湖泊兼發電水庫。湖面海拔748公尺，常態面積7.93平方公里（滿水位8.4平方公里），最大水深27公尺，自然生態豐富，但亦為最多外來種生物的淡水湖泊之一。日月潭景色優美，「雙潭秋月」為台灣八景之一。日月潭也是台灣原住民邵族的居住地。由於過去平埔族稱居住於山裡的原住民為「沙連」，而內山以日月潭一區為最大的積水盆地，故日月潭舊稱又為水沙連。 WIKIPEDIA Link
Sun Moon Lake is the largest body of water in Taiwan as well as a tourist attraction. Situated in Yuchi, Nantou, the area around the Sun Moon Lake is home to the Thao tribe, one of aboriginal tribes in Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake surrounds a tiny island called Lalu. Tourist Attractions in Tainan
Taijiang National Park has a total area of 39,310 hectares. Land area includes public land from Tainan City's Yanshui River to the Zengwen River, Tainan black-faced spoonbill Reserve and Qigu Lagoon. The main focuses of planning are protecting wetlands bio-diversity, and relics from the settlement of the area and the salt industry.
Anping Harbor National Historical park Anping Fort, during the period of Japanese occupation, the dormitory for the Customs. Built a square ladder-style platform at original location. In the center of the platform, they built a western-style house. That is what we know Anping Fort now. Over three hundred years passed, today the oldest fort of Taiwan has still in front of us.
CHI-MEI Museum in Tainan, Taiwan, is the private museum of the Chi Mei Corporation. The collection is divided into five categories: western art (including painting, sculpture, decorative arts and period furniture); musical instruments; natural history; arms and armor; antiquities and artifacts.
