How to get to Kenting:
At first, come to Kaohsiung City which is the second largest city in Taiwan.

For those who travel via international flights
It is highly recommended that you choose Kaohsiung (KHH) as the final destination rather than Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (Was Chiang Kai-shek International Airport). When you leave Kaohsiung international airport terminal, the bus station is located at the right-hand side (about 40 meter walk) .
In case you have to exit from Taoyuan International Airport without connecting flight to KHH, it is highly recommended that you take bus/taxi to Taiwan High Speed Rail(THSR) Taoyuan station (~10 km). Then, take southbound train to Zuoying station (near Kaohsiung City). When arriving in Zuoying station (takes about 100 min ride), the bus station is located outside the exit #3.The bus leaves for Kenting approximately 20 min after every train arrives from 8:50 to 22:50 daily.

From Kaohsiung to Howard Beach Resort Kenting, Henhchun Town, Pingtung
Howard Beach Resort Kenting is a well-known 5-star resort and is easily accessible by taxi, bus, or car. Taking a bus is recommended.

After you arrive in Kaohsiung, the taxi stand can be easily found just outside the terminal or train station. Cab fare will be approximately USD 80-90. You should allow 2-hour drive.

The Kaohsiung-Kenting Route is jointly run by 4 different bus companies. Pingtung Bus, Kaohsiung Bus, King Bus, and Chungnan Bus.
The air-conditioned coach runs every 10-15 minutes from 6:00 to 23:00 daily, and it takes about 3 hours.
Also, there is express bus (route 88) running every hour. It takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes

Shuttle Service provided by Howard Beach Resort Kenting
A 9-passenger shuttle may be arranged for picking-up at Kaohsiung Internationl Airport or Zuoying High Speed Rail station. The 5-day advanced reservation is needed. The fee is NT$ 3,800 (~US$120). For more information and reservation, please call 886-8-2324 ext 2547.

We will set up a service center near the exit of the airport for assisting you taking a bus, if you have any problem, please feel free to contact the service center. We will have transportation staff at Kaohsiung airport all day Nov.3 and Nov.4 to assist attendees arriving at Kaohsiung airport.
If you arrive at Kaohsiung airport when our service is not available, please download (download) the address file of Howard Kenting Resort printed in Mandarin in advance.
After your arrival, please show it to the bus/taxi driver. Howard Kenting Resort is very famous resort in Kenting area and you should have no problem to reach there.
